Life Point Counseling
Our Team
Life Point Counseling was founded on a simple but profound belief: that our relationships—with others and with ourselves—are at the heart of our well-being. For over three decades, we’ve been privileged to walk alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges, strengthen their connections, and work toward lasting healing.
Our practice is built on compassion, mindfulness, and a deep respect for each person’s unique story. We understand that seeking therapy takes courage, and we’re honored that you’re considering taking this step with us. Whether you’re facing anxiety, depression, relationship conflict, or simply seeking deeper connection and personal growth, our team is here to provide a safe, authentic space where you can be heard, understood, and supported.
At Life Point Counseling, we don’t just treat symptoms—we help you understand the patterns and dynamics that shape your emotional life. Through relationship-centered therapy informed by neuroscience and grounded in genuine human connection, we’re committed to helping you live more fully, love more deeply, and thrive in all your relationships.

Matthew Burch
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
For over three decades, I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they work toward deeper connection, healing, and wholeness. My passion lies in helping people strengthen their relationships — because so often, challenges like depression, anxiety, and trauma are intertwined with the quality of our connections to others and to ourselves.
My approach is deeply person-centered, grounded in mindfulness, and informed by interpersonal neuroscience. I integrate these perspectives to help clients understand the emotional patterns and relational dynamics that can be difficult to see, yet profoundly shape our well-being. Together, we work toward insight, healing, and practical change that allows for genuine growth and renewed closeness.
After more than thirty years in practice, I continue to be humbled by the courage and resilience of those who seek therapy. I value and respect each person’s unique story and view therapy as a collaborative process — one that helps people become more fully themselves and live with greater authenticity and freedom.
A quote that has guided my life and work comes from Irenaeus of Lyons: “The glory of God is a human being fully alive.” This vision — of people living fully, compassionately, and connected — is at the heart of my work.
Joe Graybill, MA, LMFT
Joe Graybill
Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
Joe is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been working with children, adolescents, adults, and families since earning his Master’s degree from Bethel University in 2015. He has provided therapy in a variety of settings, including home-based, school-based, and outpatient environments.
Joe fosters a collaborative, strengths-based approach to therapy, creating a supportive space where clients can broaden their perspectives, find peace through clarity, and discover hope in healing.
While Joe has extensive experience treating anxiety and depression across all age groups, much of his work focuses on supporting adolescents and families as they navigate stressful seasons of life. He also works closely with individuals, couples, and families where disabilities may create unique needs or challenges. In addition, Joe brings valuable insight into the ways technology impacts relationships and contributes to anxiety and depression.
Kayla Van Wyk, MA, TMFT
Kayla Van Wyk
Temporary Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist
I’m Kayla Van Wyk, a Marriage and Family Therapist (TLMFT) who earned my Clinical Mental Health Counseling degree from Colorado Christian University. I work with individuals, couples, and families across all ages and life stages. I have a special passion for working with adolescents and teens as they navigate the challenges of growing up, identity, and relationships.
I take a systemic approach to therapy, meaning I consider how relationships, environments, and life experiences shape each person’s story. My work is grounded in collaboration and compassion, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, and strength-based practices to help clients build insight, resilience, and meaningful change. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where each client feels heard and empowered.
As a Christian, I’m able to integrate faith into the counseling process when desired, while also welcoming and respecting clients from all spiritual and cultural backgrounds.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy staying active—whether that’s running, hiking, or spending time outdoors. I’m also a big fan of a good cup of coffee and always appreciate a local café recommendation.
Austin Rapier
Austin Rapier
Therapist Intern
Currently completing my degree and licensure through Crown College, I felt called to counseling because of my passion for helping people feel truly seen, heard, and known. I hold an undergraduate degree in Ministry and Leadership and have experience working both in full-time ministry and in a corporate setting.
My free time tends to be occupied by my two (incredibly fun) kiddos, and my dinner table is usually full with friends and family. Balancing school, family, and life has given me a deep appreciation for the complexity and beauty of being human.
Whether you’re processing big questions, navigating transitions, or just trying to catch your breath, I believe you deserve a space where you feel safe to show up fully as yourself. I’m honored to walk alongside people in that journey.
